So helpfull, thank you for the video.
How do you like it?
I love it. It was perfect to fly and travel with.
Inferior products!
Absolutely the best video on this. Can't wait to get started!
Thank you!
🤷🏻♂️ ok
Great size comparison video, thanks
Would be helpful to have better light in your video. I'm really grateful that you shared your measurements, it helps me work out what size to buy.
Wonder if the harnesses are too small? Is that a medium webmaster?
Very helpful tips thank you.. am about to get my dogs on them
Late to this one, but I just attached the Gunner 2.0 fan to my Little Guy’s medium crate and your video served as a great guide. Much obliged!
I'm glad to hear it. Thank you.
❤
Great video that contributes to the knowledge of trail hiking /running with dogs. My only thing is that the personality and breed of the dog also informs their trail behavior. A very front foot dog (lead dog) paired with a more passive dog (side runner) becomes a different kind of challenge to train. The bond between my two litter mates (3 year olds) is so strong, that separating them to train them individually has been nearly impossible. Neither can concentrate for the whole hour while away from the other. It’s a curious thing i wonder if others have encountered. I have just learned to work them together with common field calls and hand signs. They know who is being spoken to from a distance or close up, yet they don’t know unique instructions just to the individual dog. Have not soled that yet.
Very helpful! My puppy is almost a year old, and I’d like to start running with her. Any thoughts for dogs that like to stop and sniff a lot?
So helpful! Looking to get one for my K9, Thank you! ❤
Glad it was helpful!
Hi Are you please able to provide your etay link?
You order through Instagram, @raincoastk9
Hello, what is the breed(name) of Calli(the light brown one), please?
I love your videos. Such an underrated channel!
I appreciate that!
Is it able to see with the sticker on?
Yes, of course!
That glue is actually very easy to get off of your hands
What size is that
Small
YES ! stormy here, but MUCH less so, so far, on the SGI - southern gulf islands!
A perfect example of letting dogs be dogs How proud was that dog of his stick. He just had to show it to mommy
Beautiful ❤️
Your dog Connor is such a good boy and fantastic training you must have done with him. Your video has helped me find what is right for my dog. Thank you.
hi. I saw your video. I'm interested in the arrak active stretch pants, they are thinner for the summer time. thank you
I think the Motion Flex pant is thinner for summer and more comfortable.
how much do your dogs weigh?
The dogs for those kennels are my 30lb dogs.
thanks! i would have guessed more like 40 haha. my pup is 35 but shorter than yours (beagle mix). i'll probably wait another 6 months for her to be fully grown before buying one
What size kennel did you get?
In this video those are the Intermediate size kennels, before Gunner made the medium size.
Very helpful. I've been wondering about sizes for my 22", 55# Siberian. Looks like a medium will work well for him if it works for your Dutch Shep. Beautiful dogs and great crate training, BTW!
I bought two sets for my Newfoundland
What size goggles do they wear?
All medium, and large dog is in a large
lovely
Or keep your dogs on leash?
😂 Why, when I train my dogs.
I’m edging towards the flag line, do you think 3 straps will feel too much for a dog who has never worn a harness before? I think the extra padding underneath and the fact I won’t have to put it over her head would be better for her.
The flagline doesn't have extra padding. It has extra fabric for more support. If you want extra padding then the additional guard you can purchase for the Web Master would be a better option. Regardless of harness, I suggest a few training sessions to have your dog get well adjusted and comfortable with the harness.
@@EngagedK9 thank you for your comment and for clarifying. I don’t like the webmaster because of the buckle/adjustment thing on the underside, she usually just lies down (rather than running off) and as it’s her first experience of a harness her comfort is one of my primary concerns (as well as that she can’t escape from it obviously) I prefer the fabric underneath just because it looks more comfortable. Yes, I will be doing some sessions with her in the garden before going anywhere.
Thank you for your review. Definitely won’t be getting a front range then as I can’t afford for my rescue to escape once I start taking her out.
The front clip is useful for water crossings or tethering in something like a kayak. You never want to use a top clip in water because it will force the dog's head under water. The bottom clip is also good for a rope assisted climb, again, pulling the dog up, not down. Having both top and bottom clips is a very good feature.
Great insight. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for sharing that. I have 2 very different dogs I’m trying to find harnesses for and it’s really hard to find the right ones for them.
@@ForeverInFaith Well, the good thing is that there are many choices now. That is also the bad thing, right? It really depends on what activities your dog will need the vest for. Some are load bearing, some have extra protection in areas like the chest/abdomen, etc. Another option for some applications is a pack with an integrated vest. Many dogs love to have a job to do, so a pack might be a great choice. I do know that Ruffwear makes great stuff. I used to work with them doing product development, so I got to know the company very well. Great people and great products. That said, there are some pretty good options on Amazon, if cost is an issue. What type of dogs do you have, and what functions do you need in a vest? Maybe I'll have some ideas to look at?
🥰🥰🥰🥰🤗🤗
I have a 70lb lab what size do you think would fit her the best thanks
It's tough to say, I would more look at the length and height of your dog. I'd like to say intermediate but it might be just a little too snug. my suggestion would be to measure your dog and look on the Gunner website at the measurements of both the Intermediate and Large Gunners.
I wish I knew a trail where I could have my dog off-leash like that
Thank you for the Etsy link!
Did you make their nameplates yourself?
No, Aerialcratetags makes them.
@@EngagedK9 okay, thank you! I just ordered my first G1 kennel yesterday, I'm so excited. Thanks for all your videos on them!
What situations are the specs needed for?
We use it when we ATV. Others use it for UV protection. Some dogs have eye conditions making them sensitive to light.
You made it so easy for me. Thank you! I saw in another video you have the intermediate size. Did you decide the medium was to small for you Cattle Dogs?
Glad it was helpful. No, medium was perfect for my cattle dogs!
@@EngagedK9 Hey! Thank you for replying. That's good to hear. I just bought a medium for my Cattle Dog (she loves it!) and my Whippet. It's great knowing they are as safe as can be traveling.
I’m stuck between medium and small. I have a working mini Goldendoodle who weighs at 22 pounds just like her brother . What would you suggest for a working dog, also I’m in AZ so I want to do a pad and fan attachment to the kennel.
it's tough to say, 22lbs I want to say Small, but I would also consider the height and length of your dog.
Sooner or later no dog likes having stuff on their head. That doesn't look like it has anything to hold it on and most dogs would have it off effortlessly.
This video was super helpful! I just thought I would add in the information that if people are concerned about the crash test rating that the Medium Gunner crate is only tested up to 45lbs, and the Intermediate is tested up to 75 lbs. That needs to be taken into account alongside the actual height & length of the dog. My heeler is a weird size - 32 inches long, 20 inches at the shoulder, but a solid 50 lbs and still growing. I didn't end up going with Gunner because I need to fit two crates in my vehicle and the intermediate would be too big, but if I had, I would have had to go with the intermediate in order to be within the crash rate standards for safety.
So are the dogs not supposed to be able to stand in the kennel? Is it only for car travel and sleeping?
Travel/car crate sizing is much different than at home crate sizing. For traveling, you don't want room for your dog to be able to be thrown around. At home, they need room to be able to stand, sit, stretch, lay down stretched out, etc.
Love that location. Where is it?🤔
Thank you for this excellent video. Would have loved to see you take it to the water.
does weight matter? my dog is also 25 inches at the shoulder but is 80lbs
It can, yes. If your dog struggles to get into the kennel and turn around.
